Miten Shah is CTIS Vice President and Corporate Treasurer. He has served at CTIS for over 20 years. As VP, he focuses on ensuring the firm’s financial health, and he oversees all contract budgeting, compliance activities, and financial operations to meet financial commitments and to develop growth strategies for improved ROI aligned with the corporate vision. He often takes on the critical role of liaison between the delivery team and the finance/accounting team to ensure effective program management and alignment of activities with organizational goals.
Miten joined CTIS as a Contracts Manager and he took on increasing levels of responsibility in financial management more broadly, FAR compliance, budgeting and forecasting and strategic planning. Miten brings both public and private sector experience to his roles, having held positions at the National Institutes of Health (NHLBI, NIAID, NIHMD), the Moffitt Cancer Center, Inova Hospital System and Medstar Washington Hospital Center. He began his career as an equity trader at Ajit K Vajani, Mumbai Stock Exchange. He holds a BS in Accounting and a BS in Finance (ongoing). Miten is a proud board member for GKHET Inc., a non-profit organization that supports health and education programs for under privileged children in India. To date the organization has funded the elementary school education of more than 100 children and it has led several relief drives in disaster management.
